Good quality, honestly sourced produce, served within a warm, welcoming, convivial room. The décor at Season Kitchen is nice and mellow, with subtle greys offset by an interesting collection of old paintings.  Everything on offer here is own-made, including the fabulous, no-extra-charge bread.  The critics are raving about this local restaurant and the wonderful food which is a  mix of British, Mediterranean and other influences.

This popular local canteen offers a good choice of drinks (hot and cold) and serves a great selection of breakfast and lunch dishes, using quality seasonal ingredients for a worldwide inspired menu.  It is also open for dinner on Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings. Franks has a variety of baked, grocery and deli products for sale and all menus are available for takeaway.

This family run coffeehouse and tea room makes one feel at home. Situated in Highbury Barn, Highness spans two levels and is filled with comfy antique furniture. They offer a selection of cakes (to die for), and all of the desserts are made by their talented patisserie chef, Nes. Smoothies and lunch are available as well including sandwiches, salads, jacket potatoes and home made soup.

Il Guscio Highbury is now a very popular local and authentic Italian restaurant owned by Salvatore and Cristiano who between them have worked in San Lorenzo, the Four Seasons, The American Bar at the Savoy and many other highly successful establishments.  Together they decided to recreate some of the Italian flavours of the past in Highbury, opening the restaurant as a tribute to the famous Il Guscio in Sardinia.
